They can modify the textures, audio and models. Many players start hosting matches after they have been playing for a while. Minecraft resource packs customize the look and feel of the game. Before you just jump into a game, make sure you have a basic idea of the common rules among the hosts and make sure to read the match post to prevent any confusion. Matches are hosted all of the time by members of the community at their own expense, and all of them are free for you to join.
